Spun from superfine show quality fleece grown on our property, the yarn is 100% alpaca - without the addition of other fibre species - available in white in 2 to 12 ply and in a large range of natural colours from white to black and every natural colour in between in 4 and 8 ply
We do not use dyes of any kind
The high quality of our fleeces, combined with the most up to date specialist technology employed by our eminent processor results in a truly magnificent fibre which is a joy to use and wear
Those who cannot tolerate the prickle factor of sheep's wool, will find alpaca soft, smooth and non-irritant to the skin. It is lightweight but very warm, longwearing and luxurious
Because our yarn originates from individual animals - always individually named and identified - each shade is available only in small quantities up to 1 - 2 kilos
